Glens Masterclasses 2002

Another very successful weekend of Traditional Instrument Masterclasses was organised over Saturday/Sunday 2nd/3rd November 2002 in Cushendall, with participants coming from all over Co. Antrim to benefit from the tuition of champion musicians Gerry O'Connor (Louth - Fiddle), Deirdre Havlin (Leeds - Tin Whistle), P J Hernon (Galway - Accordion) and Marcus Hernon (Galway - Flute). The weekend commenced with a Friday evening session in McCollam's Pub, the workshops were held in St. Aloysius' High School over Saturday and Sunday and there was a grand musical get-together of local musicians, singers, dancers and tutors in the Mariner's Bar, Waterfoot on Saturday evening.
